Drama Team 

Using drama to spread hope

This project uses the talent of youth within Nkomazi to reach children, youth and general community members through performances with educational information that will lead to positive transformation of our community.
The youth use their ability to sing, dance and act drama in bringing messages of hope to the communities that are negatively affected by the HIV/AIDS and extreme levels of poverty in our society. The drama team normally visits local clinics, schools (both primary and high schools) and community functions to educate our people. Once every two years, Thembalethu Nkomazi has been able to send youth to UK as part of cultural exchange programme. The visit to UK by the members of drama team started in 2009. In addition in 2013, the members of drama team had an opportunity to visit UK and Holland. Thembalethu Nkomazi is supported by Za Foundation in implementing the activities for the drama team project.
