Helping the most vulnerable
Research has shown that migrants, youth and sex workers are the most vulnerable groups in our community. As long as the above groups remain marginalised then the safety and the wellbeing of the entire society will remain compromised. With that understanding Thembalethu Nkomazi in partnership with International Organisation for Migration (IOM) are implementing SRHR-HIV Knows No Borders project.
Through this programme, the organisation is sensitizing the rights of the above named groups. The project is being implemented through 36 Change Agents that have been tasked to reach youth (both in school and out of school), migrants and also the sex workers. In equipping the above groups, the safety and wellbeing of the entire community is improved.
