My achievement at Thembalethu

I was born in 1988 and I live in Bufflespruit. I joined Thembalethu in February 2012 and there were many blanks in my knowledge of modern technology but I’ve achieved a lot of things in a short period of time. Things that are supposed to be achieved over a long time, here, they are achieved in a short time! I am now capable of driving a computer and Skyping and blogging. Today I even have my own blogging website!

When I first joined Thembalethu, I was an “in-box thinker” but now I can think “outside the box” and my thinking is very different to before.
I teach siSwati to a school called St Katherines in the UK. I am an ambassador of four local schools that link with the UK schools – just because of this wonderfully organization!

I even gained the biggest ever experience that I never thought I would be able to have – I went to Holland for a week where we performed and then to England for five weeks. What an experience! It was amazing to see some of our performances on the Zakhele13 Facebook.

Because of the Thembalethu family, today I can stand up for myself in front of any number of people and do an impressive presentation, I can offer tips of how to approach interviews, and also give other tips of how to release stress – all thanks to the many workshops that I get at Thembalethu.

I’m proud to have a certificate as a Thembalethu Ambassador in the UK. May God bless Thembalethu and may it grow day by day. I say thank you to Thembalethu.

I’m passionate about art and poetry.
